‘PSNT Election Postponed’

Dallas: The General Election of Pakistan Society of North which were scheduled to be held on March 14, have been postponed for indefinite period owing to Temporary Restraining Order by The State of Texas District Court, Tarrant County.

According to sources, Candidates of two slates of PSNT Election have failed to solve their issues and matter went to the Texas District Court to resolve.

    Houston, Texas (03-02-2010 – Pakistan Chronicle Report): Despite tremendous campaign by business magnate Farouk Shami, Former Houston Mayor Bill White defeated six other candidates this past Tuesday to become the Democratic nominee for Texas governor. According to political pundits, Bill White has given his party the best hope in years at winning the chief executive post.

    In the GOP race, at the time of this report with a handful of precincts reporting and nearly 650,000 Republican votes counted, Perry was ahead with 52.5% of the vote to Hutchison's 31% and Medina 17%.

Half of the money for this $1-Million Chair has come from Mr. Wilson’s good friend Buddy’s Temple charity organization, while the rest $500,000 were raised by the Pakistani Community of USA.
