Dallas: The Ambassador of Pakistan to United States has said that Overseas Pakistanis is a real Ambassador of Pakistan and Pakistanis may emerge as a powerful Nation if they get together at single platform. He said during his recent visit to Dallas with the special meeting held in a local hotel here in Dallas with Acting President of Pakistan Peoples Party North Texas, Raja Zahid Khanzada and PPP leaders including Atorny Naeem Haroon Sakhia and Javeed siddique.
Ambassador Haqqani said that Pakistani Americans can pay effective role in helping their native Country through their Congress members and local centers.
He indicated that Pakistan bear great losses due to war against terrorism and Majority of Pakistan are against extremism and terrorism.
Mr Haqqani has rejected the Western misconception about Pakistan as a militant nation being propagated against it in the world and said that it has been wrongly branded as a militant nation.
Ambassador Haqqani urged to the Pakistani Americans to come ahead to strengthen the hand of Government of Pakistan to establish peace and defeat terrorisam in theregion. He appealed to the community to mobilize resources to help their brethren back home in this hour of need. Ambassador Haqqani was on short visit of Dallas, and met the Delegation of Pakistan Peoples Party of North Texas, including, Acting President of North Texas, Raja Zahid Khanzada, Atorny, Naeem Sakhia and Javeed Siddique. The meeting continued to one and half hours, they discussed current political, social and various issues currently taking place in Pakistan.
