New York: New York: Central Organizer Mr. Kamal Zafar and Members of MQM USA have said in an statement issued on the occasion of 31th Anniversary of APMSO that the formation of APMSO 31 years ago, has changed the political approach in Pakistan.
The statement said that The APMSO proved to be the harbinger in raising voice for the rights of common men of Pakistan which was eventually taken further by MQM and brought the common men of Pakistan in power corridors. And The Political History of Pakistan is witnessed that Politics and access to the Parliament were forbidden fruits for the middle class and the lower middle class before MQM.
They said, while congratulating to the Founder of MQM, Altaf Hussain on the 31st. Anniversary of APMSO, and the workers of MQM on behalf of the workers and supporters of MQM USA, that the step of formation of APMSO was taken by a young student at a time when even talking about politics, let alone participating in the politics, was a forbidden for the middle class and the lower middle class. Formation of APMSO gave the courage and awareness to the common men and now the 98% oppressed is getting access to the political arena. The office-bearers of MQM USA said that a time will come when the 98% oppressed will prevail over the 2% privileged stratum and the history will give credit mainly to the formation of APMSO.
