Dallas: Yaum-e-Ashura (the day of martyrdom of Hazrat Imam Hussain RA) 10th Muharram-ul-Haram to be observed with great reverence and religious fervor around Muslim communities across United States, including Dallas and adjoining areas to pay homage to Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) and his companions for the sacred sacrifices rendered for the cause of truth, justice and righteousness.

In this regards, Several Majalis Mehfils being held daily from Ist Muharram ul Haram at various Imam Bargah of Dallas, Keraltin, Plano and Aurang.

Several Morning Procession and have been scheduled on 3 Imam Bargahs of Keralton, Plano and Aurang.

The Following programs will be held during the month of Muharram,

Special Majlis on Mehndi Hazrat Imam Qasim (RA), On 7th Muharram ul Haram,

Alam (Hazrat Abbas RA) on 8th Muharram ul Haram

Jhoola -e- Shahzada Ali Asghar on 9th Muharram ul Haram

On 10th Muharram ul Haram, Azan-e-Ali Akbar will be recited and Majlis-e-Subha and Ashura-e-Subah to be held on 6:15 AM at all the Imam Barghas and Aqa Centers in Keralton, Alam Center, Plano and Momin Center, Aurang whereas Majlis- Ashoora to be held at 1:30 PM.

The Main Procession will emerge from Downtown Dallas at 10 AM, The Procession will start from City Hall. mourners of Procession will pass through the streets of downtown Dallas reciting Nohas and beating their chest. The Procession will culminate at the same point at 1:00 PM Afternoon.

On 2:00 PM, Taboot-e-Hazrat Imam (RA) will be brought out from Aqa Center and mourners will keep fast.

In the evening at 7:00 PM on the day of 10 Muharram ul Haram, Majlis-e-Sham-e-Gareeban will be held where in Allama Syed Irtiqa Hussain Naqvi will highlight the sacrifices rendered by Imam Hussain and his companions in Karbala for upholding righteousness and truth.
