Dallas: Umer Sharif Welfare Trust held beautiful fundraising dinner for the Umer Sharif’s Maa Hospital at Funasia Hall and attended by invitees from many walks of life — some of them ardent supporters, others not so devoted but willing to give as much as they could for this worthy cause.
Speaking on the occasion, undisputed king of comedy, Umer shairf said that Maa Hospital Will pay immense role in providing free of cost health care services for poor and needy people, specially for the Art community of Pakistan.
“Maa Hospital” located at Orangi Town, a large densely populated town ( Slum ) in the northwestern part of Karachi and is easily accessible to approximately 2.5 million people living within 10 kilometer radius. The population is critically underserved by public and private health sector.
On the occasion, Community members announced to donate 16 thousand Dollars for this noble cause in which 8 thousand dollars were raised in cash money and rest of money will be spent to build 2 room in the hospital named “Maa” (mother in Urdu).

At the end, The owner of Fun Asia, Jan Hamid and Shariq Hamid thanked the Community members for their generous help for this noble cause.

The Maa Hospital is a charitable helth centre organised by Omer Sharif Welfare Trust for providing efficient modern health service for people wherever needed specially for the Art community of Pakistan.
